Hello I have for sale a 1979 Ford Mustang Pace Car. It’s a San Jose Factory made car 1-1-1979 Date coded. Factory V-8 car with special suspension package and trim accessories. the Car was bought as a rolling shell and I used the replacement parts from another Pace car.
The Good:
1) It has the original 302 V-8 with a T-5 Speed Conversion done in December in 2008. 2) A 8.8” rear end with 3.73’s gears from a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe (still drums in rear)
3) Lowered with Eibachs springs front and rear KYB’s struts and shocks all around.
4) 16” Mustang Pony’s
5) Converted to a 4180C 4 Barrel factory carburetor and manifold.
6) Comes with factory moon roof that has been tinted.
The Body is pretty straight for its age with no major dents.
The bad:
1) The seats are not original (it has 87-93 GT seats front and rear)
2) Some of the interior will have to be re-installed (i.e.: headliner, trim panels and inside moldings rear seat/belts) it has carpet, center console and dash (NOS part original BLACK) already installed.
3) A/C has been removed and no longer with the car.
4) Small rust spots on lower part of the hatchback (a common problems with these cars)
5) Some smog items no hooked up (buyer will be responsible for smog car sold “as is”)
